A Note from Dan

Hey All,

It’s been a while since I’ve sent anything out and I apologize! I accepted a new job with the George S. May, International Company and have been training and working long hours…not what I want to do but we all have to eat.

As for Geo-politics this has been a tense couple of weeks. With earthquakes breaking out all over the globe, typhoons and tsunamis washing people and things away and Israel and Iran poised for nuclear war it would appear that it couldn’t get any worse…then it did! This week our President was not only named “The Man of Peace” but became the first president in history to, not only attend, but act as the keynote speaker at a gay, lesbian, transsexual and bi-sexual dinner/fund raiser. This of course was followed up by a huge rally and gay march in our Nation’s Capitol. So, if McTernan and others are right in their observations and thinking (and I think they are) we are now watching the perfect storm that will bring God’s final hand of judgment against our nation and the world! I truly believe that God is through knocking crosses off of steeples and is now moving on to catastrophic acts of judgment. The Bible seems to be quite clear that we, Christians, will encounter persecutions. That’s been happening since Jesus first warned us of it. And though we will not see God’s wrath (Tribulation) I cannot be so arrogant as to believe, that while our brothers and sisters are suffering and dying around the world for the name of Christ that we in America will coast to the proverbial finish line unscathed by the hatred of the world and Satan! We need to be prepared in our hearts for what may come on the earth prior to the rapture of believers. How? Just as Daniel did. We need to “resolve” in our hearts to follow Christ! This MUST be done ahead of time! If you or anyone you know has not settled the issue of their eternal destiny it must be done now! As we say in Real Estate…Time is of the essence. Jesus said that we would be living in perilous times as his return draws near and I think that all of us would agree that, if nothing else, these are perilous times!

We as believers must be aware of exactly where we are in God’s prophetic timetable…knowing that, along with the Holy Spirit, will give us the courage and urgency to do what Jesus commanded us to do…”Go and preach the gospel”.

For those of you who can, come join us on Tuesday evenings as we gather to discuss, pray and study so we will NOT be as those in darkness caught off guard but we will walk in the light and know that our Redeemer is at the door!
